The Reeder Endowment supported two exciting America250 events in February, including a student trip to see the Tony Award-winning musical SUFFS in Cleveland. SUFFS tells the story of the woman suffrage movement from 1913-1920 and celebrates the women who made the 19th amendment possible.
The Reeder Endowment also sponsored a special screening of The Deer Hunter as a part the state of Ohio’s America250 celebration: Ohio Goes to the Movies. More than 100 people came out to see the 1978 film, parts of which were filmed in Youngstown.
